I started volunteering in the big dog kennel, but eventually was helping out anywhere I was needed. I volunteered for almost 1,000 hours in total and had the 7th most volunteer hours out of anyone in 2017. My responsibilities included caring for the dogs, including walking, bathing, feeding, as well as helping with possible adoption visits and playgroups

2021-2022

I assisted in growing and propagating plants, as well as analyzing and preparing mineral samples. I designed and executed the planting of a botanical garden on the grounds.

2022 - Present

I prepare mineral samples for experiments involving splitting, crushing, grinding, sizing, drying, and screening, dissolve mineral samples for chemical analysis and maintain accurate records of tests and test results. I also apply quality control procedures to assure accuracy of test results.
